ICE HOCKEY NEWS REVIEW is published weekly during the ice hockey season in the United Kingdom and reverts to a monthly publication through the summer months. It publishes 40 issues a year from its base in Surbiton, Surrey, 10 miles south west of London.
It is edited and produced from Pinegen's office, but the main bulk of the work is provided by a loyal band of freelance writers and photographers. The superb photographic work of Mike Smith, the magazine's official photographer, keeps it up to date with colourful action from around the country.
The freelance writing team is headed by chief feature writer Peter Oakes, with contributors around the country who keep IHNR readers up to date with events from every Superleague and British National League rink every week.
Ice Hockey News Review is available in selected newsagents around the country and all senior rinks. But for regular coverage of the British scene, as well as weekly news from the National Hockey League and the European scene, the best option is to take out a subscription.
